- Microwave simply dry the leaves in your microwave oven. This is very straightforward. Just monitor the texture of your leaves every thirty seconds, and make sure they do not burn.
- Oven Drying preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Slowly bake the Salvia divinorum leaves until they lose their moisture.
- Food dehydrator You can use your food dehydrator at home if you have one. Simply dry the leaves and the stem until they are already crispy. This also preserves a lot of the active ingredients in the leaves compared to other methods of drying.
- Natural Drying method this is also the longest method to dry your Salvia divinorum leaves. The just place your leaves outside in a plastic container, and allow nature to dry it. Place it under the direct heat of the sun. This will normally take three to 7 days.
- Tobacco Drying Method take sheets of Salvia divinorum leaves and pile them on top of each other, just like you would a sheet of paper. Put the pile on a clean plate, and then turn the pile twice every day. This allows the extracts or essences to gather evenly, producing excellent flavor.
